Contributions are not subjected to peer-review but the editorial has the right to suggest modifications or reject contributions. The types of contributions that are considered are research articles, reviews and comments that deal with an analytical pyrolysis-related subject. The structure of the contribution is not predetermined but a title, list of authors (with affiliations if available), an abstract and a graphical illustration (for the slider on the homepage) are mandatory. There are no upper or lower limits for their extent. Both Pyrolyscience and the authors will be given the opportunity to decide to publish the final material on the website or withdraw it. There is no copyright or copyright transfer. Once published on the website, the contribution cannot be retracted unless exceptional circumstances occur.
